Acceptance of these terms

By using ChatPluck ("the service"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

02 · what the service does

The service

ChatPluck fetches a publicly shared conversation link you provide, parses the page, and returns the conversation as plain text. An optional Summarize feature can also generate a short, AI-written summary of that text. Supported platforms are listed on the home page.

The service is provided as an independent utility and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, Meta, or Perplexity AI. All product names, logos, and brands referenced belong to their respective owners.

03 · AI-generated summaries

Summarize feature

The service includes an optional Summarize feature that generates a short AI-written summary of the extracted conversation. It only runs when you click Summarize — it's never applied automatically.

AI-generated summaries may omit, simplify, or misrepresent parts of the original conversation. They're provided for convenience only and shouldn't be relied on as a complete or fully accurate record — use the full extracted text for anything requiring precision.

04 · your responsibilities

Acceptable use

• Only submit share links you have the right to view — your own conversations, or links someone has shared directly with you.
• Don't use the service to access, scrape, or redistribute content you don't have permission to view.
• Don't use the service in a way that violates the terms of the source platform (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, Meta AI, Perplexity, or any other).
• Don't use the service for automated bulk scraping, abuse testing, or any activity that could disrupt it or the sites it fetches from.

You're responsible for how you use any text the service returns, including complying with the source platform's own terms about sharing or redistributing conversation content.

05 · no warranty

Provided "as is"

Extraction accuracy depends on the structure of the page at the source platform at the time of the request. If a platform changes its layout, moves content behind a login, or removes a shared link, extraction may fail or return incomplete results.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose.

06 · liability

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service and its operators aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including reliance on extracted text or AI-generated summaries that turn out to be incomplete or inaccurate.

07 · changes

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms. Material changes will update the "Last updated" date above.
